EarthSpresso sources coffee produced by women-run cooperatives around the world. The cultural heritage of coffee-growing communities often does not allow for the emancipation and independence of women. By promoting the work of women's cooperatives, we seek to facilitate much-needed change.
There are projects run by women's cooperatives in every area where coffee is produced, from Central and South America to Africa and Asia.
We will propose new projects at a constant pace. Right now we have embraced two: Rwanda Twongere Kawa Coko, and from Costa Rica the Yellow Honey of the Cooperative Cafè Mujer.
